Terms

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Woes. By creating a workspace or using the service, you agree to them.

Effective date: July 4, 2026 · Last updated: July 21, 2026

Early access status

Woes currently accepts self-service workspace registrations during early access. Access may be limited or paused while the service is expanded. Product and pricing pages may describe planned packages or capabilities, but they do not guarantee general-availability timing. Any accepted checkout, order form, or pilot agreement controls its price, term, and included usage.

Agreement to these terms

By accessing or using woes.dev, the Woes web application, the embeddable chat widget, or the Woes API (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to that organization.

The Service

Woes is an API-native developer support platform that unifies live chat, email, and Discord support, an operator inbox, API documentation ingestion, authenticated API testing, and a grounded AI support agent. We may add, change, or remove features over time as the product evolves.

Accounts and eligibility

  • Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • Safeguard your credentials and keep workspace access limited to authorized team members.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your workspace and accounts.
  • You must be at least 16 and able to form a binding contract to use the Service.

Plans, billing, and payments

  • Commercial terms apply only when they are shown to and accepted by an invited workspace through checkout, an order form, or a pilot agreement. Stripe may process payments on our behalf.
  • Recurring billing, included allowances, metered usage, trials, renewal, cancellation, and proration apply only as disclosed before purchase or in a separately accepted agreement.
  • Fees are stated in U.S. dollars and are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for where applicable.
  • Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods and unused allowances.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend or limit access until the balance is resolved. We may change pricing with reasonable advance notice, effective on your next billing period.

Acceptable use

Woes workspaces are for legitimate developer support, customer communication, API documentation management, and support automation. You agree not to:

  • Upload content or API credentials you are not authorized to use, or infringe the rights of others.
  • Use the Service for unlawful, deceptive, harassing, or abusive purposes, or to generate harmful or misleading content.
  • Attempt to breach security, bypass tenant isolation, reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service.
  • Exceed or evade rate limits, or resell or provide the Service to third parties without authorization.

Your content

You retain ownership of the workspace content, API sources, and customer data you submit to the Service. You grant Woes a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, and transmit that content solely to provide and improve the Service, including processing by the AI and infrastructure sub-processors described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the rights and a lawful basis to submit the content, and for providing any notices and choices your own customers are owed.

API credentials and testing

Credentials you add for authenticated API testing are used only for the testing workflows you configure. You are responsible for scoping those credentials to the least privilege necessary. Woes stores them encrypted, separates them from source content, and redacts them before model calls.

AI outputs

Woes is built to ground answers in workspace API context, but AI outputs may be incomplete or incorrect and are provided on an “as is” basis. They are not professional advice. Support teams remain responsible for reviewing outputs, configuring safe credentials, and deciding when a human operator should take over.

Third-party integrations

Connectors such as Discord, Slack, Jira, GitHub, HubSpot, Linear, Stripe, and email delivery are provided by third parties and governed by their own terms and privacy policies. By connecting an integration, you authorize Woes to exchange data with it on your behalf. Woes is not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

Intellectual property

Woes and its licensors own the platform, software, and brand, and nothing in these terms transfers those rights to you. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service during your subscription. If you send feedback, you grant us a royalty-free license to use it to improve the Service.

Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other party’s non-public information disclosed in connection with the Service and use it only as needed to perform under these terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Woes will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amounts you paid to Woes in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You will defend and indemnify Woes against claims, damages, and costs arising from your content, your use of the Service, your customers, or your violation of these terms or applicable law.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, non-payment, or legal or security reasons. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will revise the effective date above and provide additional notice for material changes. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing terms and disputes

The parties will work in good faith to resolve any dispute relating to the Service. These Terms do not designate a governing jurisdiction or exclusive dispute venue. A separately signed order form or pilot agreement may do so. Woes will identify its contracting entity and governing terms with legal counsel before a public commercial launch.
